Selection Results Announcement

We are delighted to announce that Dott. Simone Chierichini has been selected as the recipient of the research fellowship within the CORNERSTONE project.

Following the public selection announced with Directorial Decree n. 1686 of May 27, 2024, Dott. Chierichini has officially joined our team.

Strengthening Our Team with Machine Learning Expertise

Dott. Chierichini brings valuable expertise in machine learning approaches to the CORNERSTONE project. His skills will beautifully complement the capabilities already present in our team, enhancing our ability to develop advanced forecasting models for coronal mass ejections, solar energetic particles, and flares from photospheric signatures.

The combination of Dott. Chierichini’s machine learning proficiency with the existing expertise within CORNERSTONE opens exciting new possibilities for innovative research and improved prediction capabilities.

We are thrilled to have Dott. Chierichini on board and look forward to the important contributions he will make to the project’s success.
